Welcome to my cozy creative corner! I am Hana Qiumarsi, an Iranian artist based in Australia. I am captivated by the unknown and the peculiarities of our reality. In my mind, I dwell in a wonderland filled with unique creatures that inspire my artistic journey.

Have you ever marveled at the intricate textures of a tree or touched the delicate surface of an underwater creature? There exists a universe beneath the surface, filled with bizarre flora and fauna, some resembling body parts. These peculiarities spark my imagination and fuel my artistic expression.

I thrive on exploration—touching, observing, and experiencing the world around me. Each sensory encounter invites me to understand how these beings coexist and thrive, driving my desire to capture the extraordinary within the ordinary. My artistic process begins with daily drawings and watercolour studies, which I then transform into tangible forms using ceramics or jewellery. I aim to create pieces that you can wear, bringing a piece of my wonderland into reality.

With a degree in Fine Art from the University of New South Wales, where I specialized in jewellery and sculpture, my work is deeply influenced by my personal experiences. I am drawn to subjects often deemed taboo or controversial, encouraging viewers to question and rethink their beliefs. Through my art, I explore forms within materials, continuously pushing boundaries and experimenting with new mediums.
